Scooby Doo Birthday Invitations
Scooby Doo first aired on CBS in September of 1969 and can be traced back to Fred Silverman who was the head of daytime programming for CBS. Looking for a show that would lead networks away from the superhero cycle and take them into an area of comedy and adventure, Silverman took Scooby Doo to Hanna-Barbera. Ken Spears and Joe Ruby created the characters, plots and story lines of the show. Originally, the show was about four teenage detectives who traveled the country in a van, called the Mystery Machine, solving mysteries in dangerous situations. The show was first known as Mysteries Five and later changed to Who's Scared. After a few changes adding Scooby Doo as best friend of Shaggy, Velma, Daphne and the rest of the gang are off solving mysteries. By 1972, Scooby Doo popularity took off using the voices of guest stars like Phyllis Diller, Tim Conway, Jonathan Winters, and Don Knott’s. Scooby Doo party supplies like paper plates, napkins, and cups are a nice way to complete a Scooby Doo Party Theme. Party decorations using real Scooby Doo figures as centerpiece, can also double as party prizes. Party favors like Scooby Doo stickers or inflatable liven up a Scooby Doo Party Theme.
